Mario Kart Wii

I never really got into any of the previous Mario Kart games on the SNES or N64, etc. but this one has really got me into it. It’s pretty good as one player but the multi-player is great – I’ve had 4 players on the one Wii and today I had my first inter-continental race. I played against my family back in England and it’s great fun! I did add in a webcam so it gives more of a feeling of playing against other people, we had that running on laptops alongside the Wii.

  1. I gave a shout out in the last mailout asking anyone who had a Wii to give us recommendations on what to buy.

Not a peep out of you….

Webbie, I emailed you directly. For those of you who don’t have access to Webbie’s email:

Pro Evoluion Soccer – not quite as technical as the PlayStation version, easier to score but an interesting adaptation with completely different controls.

Super Mario Galaxy – didn’t play it for long but wasn’t overly impressed.

Mario Party 8 – fun boardgame with minigames party thingy.

Wii Play – some playable mini games, only worth the money as it comes with a Wiimote.
