Taco Bell are going to run a giveaway for the World Series but they are doing it while I am at work, so hopefully they’ll be bringing some into the office. If a player steals a base in any of the 7 games they will give away 1 taco to everyone in America (or at least everyone who visits a Taco Bell restaurant in the 3 hour time frame). It is on a Wednesday after lunch and before work finishes but I’m sure plenty of people will manage to get out to claim their free taco.
I have previously not been writing much as I haven’t been doing much, now I haven’t been writing much as I’ve been doing too much. I’ve been in my new job as a Systems Analyst for just over a month now, I’ve done the training and been taking help desk calls for a while. Its busy during the week but its a good way to learn, I don’t have time to get bored! It consists of taking calls from Taco Bell managers supporting their back office PCs and printers. Its all going well so far, there’s a lot to learn but its coming along and its a good environment to work in.
Shifts have been moving about a bit but I managed to get day shifts right from the start rather than having to work through the night. The drive down can vary though, weekends aren’t too bad at 1 hour, but some of the busy mornings or Friday afternoon can take 2 – 2.5 hrs!
